Shaking the Family Tree
I am looking for descendants of my grandfather's (Thomas) siblings. He was raised in southwest Wisconsin and later lived in southern Minnesota. He had several brothers and sisters, among them Patrick (which we have never been able to trace), but was rumored to perhaps lived in the E. St. Louis Illinois area. Others names of brothers and sisters were Mike, Theresa, Katherine. There were just two girls, as far as I know, but there were other brothers, whose names I do not know. Thomas' parents (my great-grandparents) are buried in a rural Catholic cemetery near Viroqua, Wisconsin, only a few miles east of the Mississippi River. If anybody can help me, I would much appreciate the assistance.

McDermott's in Larksville, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania
Hi! hoping that someone can help me connect my wife's McDermott ancestors. only info that we have so far is: William McDermott (b.+-1860 in Pennsylvania) married Mary Mooney in +-1890; listed in the 1910 census in Larksville, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania; both of Williams parents are listed as being born in Ireland, but i have no other info on them. William and Mary's children were Mamie, Lala, William (b.1892), Edward (b.1893), Joseph (b.1895), Vincent Joseph (b.11/16/1897) and Bernadette (b.1901).
Hoping that someone can help me connect them! would appreciate any help, or other places that i can look for information. (my next step is earlier census records).
thanks!

Looking for Alabama McDermott's?
Ms. Mauriece Dixon Hinson has lots of records for McDermotts in Alabama she has just sent to me. Her McDermott is Rosanna McDermott, b.April 18, 1828, Carlisle, England. Mar. James M. Dixon, b. 15 Aug. 1816, Bath, England. I will be her contact and will respond if you have a match on the family tree. She has given permission to put all her records on the MacDermott Family Tree. I will do this after I finish the Clan Picnic Name badges.

American McDermotts - help !
I am looking for connections between my Canadian McDermotts American families. My great-great grandfather Andrew must have had an American connection, because 2 of his daughters moved to the USA and we never heard from them again. Does anyones ancestor have a sibling named Andrew ? Did anyone have Canadian/Irish cousins come to live/visit ?
Thanks.
