Cloghmine, Co. Sligo. A townland adjacent to Kilmactranny, in the McDermottroe country. A recently submitted family tree shows the descendants of John McDermottroe, born 1825, of Cloughmine.
Annagh or Drumanilra, Corrigeenroe, Co. Roscommon. Descendants of McDermottroes who lived here had a reunion in Boyle in July 2000. Further details of this event will follow.
Ballykilcline, Co. Roscommon. The inhabitants of this townland were evicted from their homes during the Great Famine. Maureen McDermott Humphrey's ancestors come from here. There are ongoing archaeological investigations.
